This unit was designed from the box in instead of from the machine out...the original need for the smaller motor and canister originated because the oriental market could not handle the larger size of the full size Dyson's. The designed a box that would work and then designed the machine to go inside the box...and voala...the DC22 was born.
This unit also features the industries first digital motor without need of carbon brushes and with a double long life expectancy.
